Job Title: Drone Observer
Job DescriptionAs a Drone Observer, you will participate in all pre-operational briefings and other required crew activities. You will monitor assigned airspace along a flight route prior to launch, during flight, and throughout the delivery phases of UAS testing. Additionally, you will assist in collision avoidance activities, identify hazardous weather conditions, and advocate for safety at all times.
Responsibilities

- Monitor assigned airspace along flight routes.
- Assist in collision avoidance by identifying non-cooperative traffic and communicating with relevant personnel.
- Identify hazardous weather conditions and other unforeseen hazards.
- Advocate for and maintain safety standards.
Essential Skills- R&D experience
- Customer service skills
- Logistics understanding
- Proficiency in Excel data entry
- Experience with Oracle
- Computer savviness
- Ability to run controls, enter and manage data, and handle flight tickets
Additional Skills & Qualifications- FAA-issued P107 remote pilot certificate
- Positive attitude and problem-solving skills
- Eligibility to work in the US
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stand for extended periods

Work Environment
The role requires flexibility with shifts, including AM, swing shifts, and potential work as late as midnight. Weekend work is also expected. You will work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
