Job Title: Aircraft Painting Technician
Job DescriptionAs an Aircraft Painting Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality appearance of aircraft through meticulous preparation and painting processes. You will work in a supportive environment that values teamwork and exceptional customer service, contributing to the overall quality of workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Mask aircraft for stripper application.
- Apply, agitate, and wash stripper off aircraft.
- Hand clean and sand aircraft in preparation for etch and alodine.
- Apply etch and alodine to aircraft and rinse.
- Remove and reapply seam seal as required.
- Mask and prepare aircraft for primer application.
- Sand primer for topcoat application.
- Prepare aircraft for topcoat application.
- Mask, prepare, and paint stripes as needed.
- De-mask aircraft.
- Polish and detail exterior paint.
- Paint and prime overalls as needed.
- Assist with the training of Junior Technicians.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills- Proficiency in aircraft painting and paint preparation.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Visual acuity correctable to 20/20.
- Capability to wear PPE and work with exposure to toxic and caustic chemicals.
- Experience with auto painting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Must have years of aircraft painting experience.
- Ability to work in precarious places and heights above six feet.
- Experience working in noisy environments.

Work Environment
Work inside a temperature-controlled hangar, primarily with a small, growing team. Opportunities are available for both 1st and 2nd shifts, working 4-10 hour days from Monday to Thursday. We provide $400 a week for 2 months of hotel accommodation. The environment is fairly clean, with exposure to vibrations and requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs and rarely up to 100 lbs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
