Job Title: Manufacturing InspectorJob Description
We are seeking early career inspectors who will play a crucial role in ensuring manufactured hardware meets engineering specifications. You will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, complex wiring diagrams, and sketches to verify compliance. Inspectors will make decisions regarding hardware acceptance, fill out nonconformance reports, inspection tags, and other relevant documents. This role involves physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, light lifting, and bending. You will interface with on-site customer representatives through product acceptance and be a vital member of the Product Quality Team to enforce compliance throughout production.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, complex wiring diagrams, and sketches.
- Verify manufactured hardware compliance with specifications.
- Make acceptance decisions based on hardware criteria.
- Complete nonconformance reports and inspection tags accurately.
- Interface with on-site customer representatives for product sell-off and acceptance.
- Enforce compliance to process and procedures throughout production.
Essential Skills- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- 1 - 2 years of hands-on inspection experience or 3-5 years in mechanical assembly.
- Capability to receive and hold a secret level security clearance.
- Experience with Solumina and Microsoft Office.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Good communication skills.
- IPC-610 and 620 or J-STD-001 certification.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience presenting products to customers for inspection.
- Build experience in the production environment, collaborating with Manufacturing and Quality teams.
Work EnvironmentThis role offers both first and second shifts with a 4/10 hour schedule, Monday through Thursday. First shift runs approximately from 7AM to 5PM, while second shift is from 5PM to 3AM. Please specify your preferred shift on your resume, or indicate openness to both shifts.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
