PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading innovator in the medical device industry to hire a skilled CNC Machinist who is passionate about precision manufacturing, quality craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. What You’ll Do
As a CNC Machinist, you will play a vital role in producing precision medical components while ensuring strict quality and safety standards are met.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment
Manufacture implants and instruments at an intermediate production level
Troubleshoot and adjust CNC programs with manufacturing engineering support
Build tooling as needed to support manufacturing operations
Perform self-inspections and ensure proper inspection setups meet quality standards
Train and mentor Level 1 personnel on CNC equipment and inspection procedures
Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and GD&T specifications
Accurately document production and inspection results
Maintain compliance with GMP procedures, SOPs, and safety policies
Identify and report process deviations to team leadership
Support team members and collaborate across departments when needed
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years of machinist experience
Ability to understand CNC programs
Ability to edit CNC programs with manufacturing assistance
Working knowledge of CNC and manual machining equipment
Knowledge of inspection procedures and inspection equipment
Understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in medical device or highly regulated manufacturing environments
Previous experience training or mentoring team members
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory standards

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
