Aircraft Maintenance Controller (Boeing / Fleet Operations Support)

This role supports maintenance control functions for a Boeing-operated fleet, ensuring aircraft availability, operational readiness, and regulatory compliance. Work Schedule

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and coordinate maintenance operations for Boeing aircraft fleets
• Provide technical troubleshooting support for complex aircraft discrepancies
• Monitor fleet status and coordinate with flight operations to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, MEL/CDL procedures, and company standards
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and vendor teams to develop repair solutions
• Track and approve maintenance deferrals and ensure timely resolution
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance actions, aircraft status, and operational impacts
• Support maintenance planning and scheduling to maximize fleet availability
• Analyze recurring discrepancies and recommend process improvements
• Act as primary point of contact for Maintenance Control during AOG and irregular operations
Qualifications
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required
• Minimum 5+ years of experience working on Boeing aircraft required
• Strong preference for experience on B737, B747, B767, or B777 platforms
• Airline or maintenance control experience strongly preferred (2+ years minimum acceptable)
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, maintenance manuals, and operational procedures
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, structural repair manuals, and IPCs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make critical operational decisions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows-based systems required
• Strong organizational and workload management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across maintenance, flight operations, and engineering teams
