We're seeking an experienced Engine Repair Coordinator to support its growing aviation supply chain and engine material operations team. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely fulfillment of open engine repair orders while coordinating closely with repair vendors and internal departments including Sales, Receiving, Quality Control, and Accounts Payable.
The ideal candidate will have prior aviation MRO and engine material experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced aviation environment. Experience working with CF34 and Pratt & Whitney engine material is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities- Create and manage Repair Orders (ROs)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with repair vendors
- Communicate effectively regarding open repair orders, status updates, ETAs, and discrepancies
- Review and analyze repair vendor quotes to optimize cost savings
- Strategically allocate piece parts from stock and/or stock purchase to reduce repair costs
- Negotiate vendor pricing to reduce BER (Beyond Economic Repair) quotes
- Enter and approve repair vendor quotes
- Generate repair order reports for management review
- Support the Sales Department by monitoring repair orders committed for sale and coordinating drop shipments
- Assist Receiving and QC teams in resolving nonconforming units and QC Hold issues
- Support Accounts Payable with repair invoice inquiries
- Meet and exceed established KPIs and departmental benchspans
- Perform additional duties as assigned
QualificationsRequired:- High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 3+ years of aviation MRO experience
- 3–5 years of customer service or vendor interaction experience
- 3–5 years working with aircraft engine material
- Experience with CF34 and Pratt & Whitney engine material preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
- Familiarity with:
- MRO terminology
- IPCs (Illustrated Parts Catalogs)
- Service Bulletins (S/Bs)
- FAA 8130 documentation
- Aircraft traceability documentation
