Key Responsibilities Include:• Overall ownership of material ordering and availability, (i.e. New Material, Used Serviceable Material, etc.) and scheduling targeting 2-week inventory levels, at a minimum• Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control)• Daily Shortage Management / Purchase order management – data input/updates
• Conduct daily walks on the warehouse floor and the receiving dock to investigate and resolve material issues/problem shelves• Assist in cycle count efforts as needed• Support all lean activities, initiatives, and action workouts• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and support corrective actions• Position may evolve to include other duties as required as the business needs change
Required Qualifications:• High School diploma and 1 - 2 years of buyer, supply chain, materials, production scheduling, or related business experience• Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field• Proficient in MS Excel• SAP (or equivalent system) knowledge and experience• Six Sigma Green Belt• Working knowledge of MRP• Excellent Interpersonal Skills• Strong problem-solving skills
