主な仕事内容
- サプライヤーと密に連携し、納期・品質・生産の安定を確保する
- リスクを早期に発見し、データに基づいた実践的な解決策を推進する

Boeing is currently seeking a Procurement Field Representative based in Utsunomiya-Tochigi, Japan.

- As a Procurement Field Representative, you will work directly at supplier manufacturing sites in Japan—not just observing, but solving real problems that affect aircraft production, delivery, and customer commitments.

What you’ll do (Key Responsibilities)
- Partner closely with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and production stability
- Identify risks early and drive practical, data-driven solutions
- Engage directly with shop floor teams through factory walks and on-site support
- Lead or support production recovery and improvement initiatives
- Collaborate across global teams (Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain)
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders in Japan and internationally
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with suppliers and internal teams

Basic Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing-related fields (e.g., supply chain, procurement, production, quality)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take ownership and work both independently and collaboratively
- Business-level English proficiency for meetings, emails, and reporting
Preferred (Nice to have) Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace or complex manufacturing environments
- Supplier-facing or field-based experience
- Exposure to production recovery, supply stabilization, or continuous improvement
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or process improvement
- Data analysis skills (Excel, etc.)

Location & Work Style
- This position is expected to be 100 onsite, based in Utsunomiya, Tochigi prefecture (Field-based role)
- Travel within Japan as required
- This role includes approximately 20–40 travel annually to supplier manufacturing sites (Tier-1, sub-tier, and backshop suppliers), offering hands-on exposure to a wide range of manufacturing environments across Japan
