Position Summary
Engineering intern positions offer a variety of opportunities including basic engineering tasks related to design, analysis, test, integration and systems engineering. Opportunities can vary from performing analysis on existing flight hardware, assisting in the design and development of future hardware, performing analysis for both completed and future mission systems engineering, mission integration, quality assurance, system safety, and production operations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Data analysis
- Assisting with Desing and Analysis
- Trade Studies
- Design for manufacturer studies
- Creating or modifying tool designs
- Processing cause and corrective actions for non-conformances
- Maintain production work instructions
- Component or integrated systems test support
*** Interns will typically support one or more experienced engineers in performance of assignments, spend time shadowing actual operations, and have unique assignments that support larger projects as well as experience the day-to-day workings of engineering.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements are:
- Knowledge of engineering science and technology
- Mathematics
- Engineering design practices
- Physics
- Problem-solving
- Analytical thinking
- Organizational skills
Desired Requirements are:
- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $44000 to $66000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
